Pre-Wedding Shoots with Printed Guestbook – New for 2025
One thing I often hear as a wedding photographer is how couples don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera. Pre-wedding shoots are a great way to get to know your photographer before your wedding day and, secondly, for you to feel more relaxed in front of the camera.
Not only that, a pre-wedding shoot also prepares you for your big day. So you’ll go into your wedding day knowing what to expect when it comes to posing for your couples portraits, without the pressure of wedding nerves. You’ll also see a great example of how I take my natural and candid photographs and how little pressure there is with my approach, which I hope will put your further at ease for your wedding day.
So what do pre-wedding shoots involve?
The first thing you need to decide is on a location for your shoot. This can be at your chosen wedding venue, a place with significant meaning to you both, or somewhere simple like the beach, a park or local landmark. Maybe even the place where the proposal happened! It’s entirely up to you.
One question I am regulary asked about pre-wedding shoots is what the couple should wear. Well, thats entirely up to you, too. Why not get dressed up in your finest, or turn up in a jumper and jeans! Whatever makes you feel comfortable, because that is one of the biggest aims of a pre-wedding shoots. Getting you both to feel comfortable in front of the camera and with me as your photographer.
After your pre-wedding shoot, I will then upload your photos to a private online gallery for you to view. You can then choose which photos you want to go in a luxury-printed guestbook. Ready for your friends and family to sign on your wedding day!
